Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Arkansas seeks a Donated Goods Associate to support store operations by processing, pricing, merchandising, and stocking donated items. You will assist customers at the register and help in the donor door, sales floor, and back stock areas.

Flexible rotation across donor door, processing, pricing, merchandising, and cashiering helps meet daily demand while upholding ACE culture and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Retail, cashier, or warehouse experience helpful but not required.
• Ability to follow directions and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Willingness to learn Goodwill procedures for donations, pricing and sales.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and customers in a friendly manner.
• Process sales transactions at the register and handle cash and cards.
• Receive, unload, and sort donated goods; assess quality.
• Hang, tag, price, and stock merchandise.
• Maintain cleanliness of the sales floor, donation area, stockroom and restrooms.
• Regular attendance as outlined in company policy.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and loss prevention procedures.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and answer questions about store policies.
• Flex between cashier, production, and sales floor duties as needed.
• Participate in training and development to enhance skills and knowledge of Goodwill’s mission and policies.
• May participate in new store building and renovation efforts as needed.
