Goodwill Industries of Arkansas is seeking a Donated Goods Associate to support store operations by handling intake, processing, stocking, and selling donated items. The role rotates across donor door, processing, pricing, merchandising, and cashiering depending on daily demand, with or without accommodation.

The position emphasizes excellent customer service within Goodwill’s ACE culture, requiring basic math/reading skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous retail, cashier, or warehouse experience helpful but not required.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and reading skills required.
• Must be able to follow directions, work independently, and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn Goodwill standards for donations, pricing, and sales.
• Complete required training within 30 days of hire (HazMat awareness and equipment certifications).
• Basic proficiency with POS, handheld scanners, barcode printers; willingness to learn AI-assisted item recognition/price suggestion tools.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and customers in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Process sales transactions at the register, cash handling per policies.
• Receive, unload, sort, and assess donated goods for quality and usability.
• Hang, tag, price, and stock donated merchandise to meet goals.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of sales floor, donation area, and stockroom.
• Assist across cashier, production, and sales floor duties as needed.
• Participate in training and development for Goodwill policies and ACE culture.
