Job summary

Bluebird Care is seeking a caring and dedicated Care Assistant to join our Care Expert Team and help us set the standard in home care. You’ll support customers with daily living, working independently or as part of a supportive team, bringing purpose and dignity to their lives.

The role offers expert training, flexible shift patterns, full induction, and ongoing career development. A driving licence and access to a vehicle are preferred to reach clients.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs
• Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning
• Be a dependable friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for
