Job summary

Bluebird Care Cornwall North is seeking a caring Care Assistant to join our expert team and help us set the standard in home care. You’ll support customers with daily living, working independently or with a supportive team, to provide high-quality care in clients' own homes. Location: Cornwall North, Launceston.

Contract type: Care Delivery. Salary details: £13.80 - £24.00 per hour. We offer full induction and ongoing expert training, flexible shift patterns, and a friendly team with 24/7

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
• Kind, compassionate attitude with a calm approach to care.
• Excellent communication and ability to build positive relationships.
• Ability to follow care plans.
• Previous care experience is beneficial but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s needs.
• Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Help with meal preparation, nutrition, and diet.
• Support with medications, prescriptions and safe disposal.
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning.
• Be a dependable, friendly face for all customers you care for.
