Self‑Employed Live‑in Care Assistant
Location: Taunton, Mid Devon, Sedgemoor & West Somerset
Pay: £750 – £850 per week with a £40 food allowance, paid breaks and accommodation. Live‑in role with 24/7 support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care tailored to each customer and encourage their independence.
• Assist with washing, dressing, toileting and mobility.
• Manage medication and prepare meals.
• Carry out household tasks such as laundry, cleaning, shopping and errands.
• Support customers in staying connected to their community through social activities, hobbies and visits.
• Provide comfort and care during illness, hospital visits and end‑of‑life care.
• Work independently while staying linked to the care and office team for support and guidance.

Requirements

• Three professional and/or educational references.
• Strong verbal and written English.
• Valid driving licence (preferred but not essential).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Previous experience beneficial but not required.
