Job summary

SEKO Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented logistics professional in Charlotte, NC to track and trace customer orders, relay requirements to SEKO stations and agents, and manage invoicing and data entry. The role emphasizes accuracy, communication, and adherence to logistics procedures.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic accounting practices is required, with at least 1 year of experience in transportation or logistics.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience required.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence and present information clearly.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations and interpret data.

Responsibilities

  • Track and trace customer orders and advise as required.
  • Organize and communicate customer requirements to SEKO stations and agents.
  • Process vendor invoices for payment.
  • Enter recovery, POD information, and charges as applicable.
  • Answer telephones and assist inquiries from customers and stations/agents.
  • Maintain account files and perform basic account maintenance.

College degree preferred. Minimum of 1-year experience required.Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.Self-motivated and able to work with a minimum of direct supervision.Must have knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry and accounting procedures.Must also have strong verbal and written communication skills as well as knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.0Compensation and BenefitsBase salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that base salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).CompensationThe base salary compensation range being offer for this role is $20 - $28 USD per year.
