Job summary

Cavalier Logistics is seeking a full-time Domestic Operations Agent to join our team in Elk Grove Village, IL. You will handle shipments from pickup to delivery, ensuring accuracy and exceptional customer service while representing the company in a professional manner.

Your role includes coordinating freight routing, performing cost analyses, preparing documents, and providing proof of delivery. You will collaborate with export/import teams and share on-call duties to maintain high service

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills
• Good verbal and written communication
• Willing and able to learn new tasks with training provided
• Bi-lingual a plus
• Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to meet demanding deadlines
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Detail oriented, thorough, accurate, and able to solve problems efficiently
• Must be able to pass a background check

We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter who can offer a high standard of accuracy and customer service to fulfill the client shipping needs. The ideal candidate will assist our customers in every aspect of their shipment from pickup to delivery.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner
