Job summary

Radiant Logistics Inc. is seeking an entry-level Domestic Operations Agent in Houston, TX. The role involves moving freight across the U.S. by routing and tracking domestic shipments, pricing loads, negotiating rates, and spotting service problems before they reach customers.

The position supports the operations team to ensure accurate shipment handling, audits vendor charges, and communicates issues promptly to management. Requires 1+ year in domestic operations and strong geography knowledge.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of domestic operations or freight forwarding experience.
• Strong knowledge of North American geography.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, including formulas and charts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Sound math skills with basic arithmetic in all units of measure.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Move Freight: coordinate domestic freight forwarding and route shipments.
• Price & Quote: quote and negotiate with carriers; audit vendor charges.
• Protect service: identify issues early and communicate with management.
