Job summary

Radiant Logistics Inc. is seeking an entry-level Domestic Operations Agent in Houston, TX to move freight across the U.S. by routing and tracking domestic shipments, pricing loads, and negotiating rates with carriers and partners.

The role supports the operations team to ensure accurate handling and swift communication of issues. The position requires at least 1 year in domestic operations or freight forwarding, solid knowledge of North American geography, and proficiency in Outlook, Word and

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of domestic operations or freight forwarding experience (1-3 years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of North American geography.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, including formulas and charts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Sound math skills: adding, subtracting, multiplying and converting between units.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic freight forwarding, routing shipments via portals and tools.
• Quote domestic air, ground, LTL and FTL freight; negotiate with carriers for rates.
• Audit vendor charges for accuracy and legitimacy.
• Identify and communicate service issues early to management.
• Maintain accurate shipment records in transportation software.
