The ideal candidate has 3+ years in a fast-paced operations environment and freight forwarding experience, with proficiency in MS Office and transportation software. This on-site role offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced operations environment.
• Minimum 3 years of freight forwarding-specific experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills under pressure.
• Exceptional attention to detail and high-level organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage domestic freight forwarding operations, including alerting and routing via internet tools, and updating transportation software systems.
• Price domestic, air, ground, LTL, and FTL shipments competitively and accurately.
• Handle shipments with meticulous attention to detail and adherence to SOPs.
• Support freight movement for a wide variety of U.S.-based customers.
• Identify potential service failures and communicate issues to management promptly.
• Obtain piece counts, weights, and dimensions from agents and update software.
• Negotiate with carriers to obtain special rates or spot quotes.
• Audit vendor charges for accuracy and legitimacy.
