Job summary

Expeditors in Hawthorne, CA is seeking a detail-oriented logistics clerk to support the Transcon team. Mon-Fri, 10AM-7PM, you will help ensure timely movement of domestic freight and provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include data entry, tracking files, billing accuracy, and maintaining carrier relationships while following OPS and customer policies. Overtime may be required; commute to Hawthorne is necessary.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check must be cleared.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• No visa sponsorship needed in future.
• Fluent in English, written and verbal.
• Able to work overtime as needed.
• Commute to Hawthorne, CA.
• Comfortable with numbers and data entry.
• Professional business environment familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow.
• Enter data accurately into the operating system.
• Track and trace Transcon files as required.
• Use Workflows daily to manage tasks.
• Ensure timely and accurate billing.
• Maintain strong relationships with service providers.
• Comply with OPS and external regulations.
• Understand department processes and seek efficiency gains.
• Follow and update customers' SOPs and meet KPI standards.
