K9 Resorts in Emerson, NJ, is hiring a Pet Care Technician to be at the heart of our luxury dog resort. You’ll care for dogs hands-on, supervise daycare, monitor health and safety, and help with grooming-ready routines while delivering a five-star experience to pet parents.

Qualifications

• A genuine love for dogs (non-negotiable).
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Comfortable getting “down and dirty” with cleaning and pet care tasks.
• Dependable, team-oriented, and adaptable.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Weekend and holiday availability required.
• No experience? No problem—we provide training!

Responsibilities

• Providing compassionate, hands-on care for dogs of all breeds and sizes
• Supervising daycare playgroups and ensuring safe, positive interactions
• Monitoring dog health, behavior, and safety and reporting concerns immediately
• Cleaning and disinfecting suites and common areas to brand standards
• Assisting with feeding, bathing, play sessions, and daily routines
• Delivering a 5-star guest experience to every pet parent
• Supporting team operations and maintaining a strong, positive culture

What You’ll Do
