Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions seeks a Network Controller to support DoDIN at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. This is a full-time, on-site role in a 24/7 operational environment with rotating shifts based on mission priorities.

The position requires an Active Secret Clearance and DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification. You will investigate alerts, diagnose network issues, monitor performance, and manage incidents in a global network infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in network operations and monitoring.
• Practical experience with LAN/WAN technologies including Ethernet, MPLS, VPNs, and wireless networking.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
• Active Secret Clearance with eligibility for Top Secret upgrade.

Responsibilities

• Proactively investigate and resolve network monitoring alerts.
• Diagnose circuit issues using router commands, loopback tests, and error analysis.
• Monitor network performance and escalate issues as needed.
• Create and maintain incident tickets in Remedy.
• Provide real-time troubleshooting across a global network.
