Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Administrator to support the DoDIN at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. This is a full-time, on-site role in a 24/7 operational environment with rotating shifts based on mission priorities.

Candidates must have an Active Secret Clearance to be considered for the role. Responsibilities include investigating network alerts, diagnosing circuit issues, monitoring performance, and managing incidents in Remedy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Practical experience with LAN/WAN: Ethernet, MPLS, VPNs, and wireless networking.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+).
• Active Secret Clearance with eligibility for Top Secret upgrade.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve network monitoring alerts.
• Diagnose circuit issues using router commands, loopback tests, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor network performance and escalate issues as needed.
• Create and maintain incident tickets using Remedy.
• Provide real-time troubleshooting across a global network infrastructure.

Position Overview:

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Administrator to support the Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN) at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. This is a full-time, on-site role within a 24/7 operational environment. Candidates must be flexible and available for rotating shifts based on mission priorities. This position plays a critical role in supporting key DoD missions and their associated networks.

This position requires an Active Secret Clearance to be considered for the role

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively investigate and resolve network monitoring alerts using available documentation and research.


• Diagnose circuit issues using router commands, loopback tests, error/alarm analysis, and other troubleshooting methods.


• Monitor network performance using specialized tools; escalation issues as needed.


• Create and maintain incident tickets using Remedy.


• Provide real-time troubleshooting across a global network infrastructure.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, with 3+ years of relevant experience.


• Practical experience with LAN/WAN technologies including Ethernet, MPLS, VPNs, and wireless networking.


• Strong verbal and written communication skills.


• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ or equivalent).


• Active Secret Clearance with eligibility for upgrade to Top Secret.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary range: $55,000 – $65,500, based on experience.


• Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k), paid holidays, PTO, and sick leave (as required by law).
