Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions seeks a Network Controller to support the DoDIN at Hill Air Force Base in Utah. This is a full-time, on-site role in a 24/7 mission-critical environment. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of networking experience, hands-on LAN/WAN knowledge, and an active Secret clearance with eligibility for Top Secret.

DoD 8570 IAT Level II (Security+ or equivalent) is required. Responsibilities include monitoring alerts, diagnosing network issues, creating incident tickets, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of networking or network operations experience.
• Active Secret Clearance with eligibility for Top Secret.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Proactively investigate and resolve network monitoring alerts using available documentation, research, and established procedures.
• Diagnose circuit and network issues through router commands, loopback testing, error analysis, alarm review, and other troubleshooting techniques.
• Monitor network performance using specialized monitoring tools and elevate issues when appropriate.
• Create, update, and maintain incident tickets within Remedy.
• Provide real-time troubleshooting and operational support across a global network infrastructure.
• Support continuous network availability within a 24/7 operational environment.
