Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Security Operations Specialist to support DoD leadership at Alexandria, VA, and the Pentagon, responsible for managing security across multiple classification levels. The role collaborates with the ISSO/ISSM to ensure adherence to DoD standards and maintains SOPs for security compliance.

The position requires on-site work daily at the Alexandria location, with occasional duties at the Pentagon, and involves parking logistics and visitor management as part of security

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility required.
• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience.
• Strong understanding of SCIF operations and DoD security standards.
• Expertise in NISPOM compliance and TS/SCI security protocols.
• Site Security Manager/Officer experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community facilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee TS/SCI facility security management, including training, storage, handling, and disposal of classified materials.
• Ensure compliance with security procedures and visitor management protocols.
• Maintain security policies, procedures, and credentialing for the TS/SCI facility.
• Conduct monthly safety checks, including fire extinguisher inspections.
• Coordinate facility repairs and maintenance with key stakeholders.
• Process and manage security-related documentation and access requests. Provide customer support and visitor escort services, assisting with parking and logistics.
• Assist in personnel onboarding and out‑processing for security programs.
• Offer administrative and operational support, ensuring seamless security compliance.
• Serve as a backup for other operations team members as needed.
