Allied Universal in Huntsville, AL, is seeking a part-time Security Officer with DoD Top Secret clearance to patrol aerospace and defense locations and provide professional customer service to personnel and visitors.

The role requires 6 months of security experience, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Shifts include Tue 11:00 PM–07:00 AM and Sat 07:00 AM–07:00 PM, with opportunities to support critical operations.

Qualifications

• Security experience: minimum 6 months required.
• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance required.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Age: 18+ for unarmed, 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors following site procedures and access requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, and deliveries.
• Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities promptly in reports.
