Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Patrol Driver with a DoD Secret Clearance for a Roy, UT location. You will perform patrols, maintain a strong presence, and ensure safety while delivering excellent customer service.

A valid driver’s license and security experience are required. The role offers a flexible daytime schedule with weekend shifts, competitive pay, and access to Allied Universal’s tools and programs.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a defense and aerospace location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access to restricted areas; verify credentials and visitor authorization in accordance with site requirements; and report discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, observations, and required shift information accurately and timely.
