Gromelski and Associates, Inc. (GAI) seeks a Technical Writer in Syracuse, NY to prepare, review, and maintain technical documents for software and systems engineering, operations, and user guides.

You will author code documentation and end-user manuals, collaborating with engineers to translate complex data into clear publications. The role requires 3–5 years of federal government writing experience and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of technical writing experience in Federal Government programs/contracts.
• Must be able to obtain and keep a DoD Secret Clearance; U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents for software and systems engineering, operations, testing, and user documentation.
• Create code documentation for software and produce installation, troubleshooting, and end-user guides.
• Coordinate with engineers and subject matter experts to translate complex technical information into clear publications.
