Job summary

CACI International Inc at Kirtland AFB, NM seeks a Technical Writer for the Joint Navigation Warfare Center to ensure high-quality engineering documentation and accompanying illustrations supporting NAVWAR and PNT capabilities.

You will produce manuals and presentations, proofread for DoD standards, and coordinate publishing with input from SMEs, ensuring concise, accurate content across media channels. A SECRET clearance is required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in English, communications, journalism, computer science, web design, engineering or related field.
• 3–7 years of relevant experience in technical writing.
• Current SECRET security clearance.
• CPTC/CTP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write technical articles, reports, brochures and manuals for diverse documentation needs.
• Integrate graphics, text and media for compelling presentations and publications.
• Coordinate production to ensure materials are produced efficiently and to DoD standards.
• Proofread and edit materials to conform to DoD spelling, grammar and style.
• Gather information from SMEs and research sources to communicate technical material clearly.
