Job summary

CACI International Inc located at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, is seeking a Technical Writer to support the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC). You will ensure the quality of technical engineering documentation and develop illustrations for presentations and publications.

This role emphasizes collaboration with team members, stakeholders, and content providers to prepare internal and external publications that meet DoD standards and Navy NAVWAR requirements while maintaining SECRET

Qualifications

3 to 7 years of relevant experience in technical writing.
Bachelor’s degree as specified in the qualifications.
Current SECRET clearance is required.

Responsibilities

Write technical articles, reports, brochures, and manuals for documentation across a wide range of uses.
Integrate graphics, text, and other media to create compelling presentations and publications.
Coordinate the production process to ensure materials are produced efficiently and effectively.
Proofread and edit correspondence, documents, memoranda, presentations, and other publication materials to conform to DoD standards.
Gather information, interview subject matter experts, and conduct research to convey technical material concisely.
