Job summary

AUSGAR Technologies, Inc. in San Diego, CA, is seeking a Technical Writer to develop and maintain high-quality documentation for DoD programs such as NIWC PAC – Seaside. The role requires exceptional writing skills and the ability to manage multiple documents across several programs.

You will ensure CDRL compliance, follow DoD style guides, and collaborate with SMEs, engineers, and stakeholders to produce accurate manuals, test procedures, and training materials in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Minimum 3 years of technical writing experience.
• Experience with DoD/IC documentation standards.
• Proficiency in Word, FrameMaker, InDesign and version control.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong organizational skills in high-ops tempo environments.

Responsibilities

• Create, revise, and maintain DoD-style technical documentation.
• Ensure all outputs meet CDRL requirements and DoD style.
• Gather requirements from SMEs and engineers.
• Manage multiple programs with competing priorities.
• Perform rigorous quality assurance and configuration management.
