Job summary

RTX is seeking a candidate for an on-site engineering support role in Huntsville, AL. You will assist with integration, testing, modeling, and data analysis across the product lifecycle.

The role requires active STEM studies with relevant scripting experience in MATLAB, Python, C/C++, Linux, or Unix. Occasional travel to Raytheon facilities may be required as testing activities occur.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.
• Experience troubleshooting technical software or hardware issues, creating analysis tools and/or automating data sets.
• Experience scripting using MATLAB, Python, C/C++, Linux, Unix, and/or other programming languages.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering activities that include integration and test, modeling and simulation, requirements analysis, data analysis, and ground test and flight test data analysis.
• Document analysis results in reports and briefings for internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in key processes such as peer, gate, and test readiness reviews.
• This position is an onsite role in Huntsville, AL.
• Occasional travel between Raytheon facilities in Huntsville AL is expected to support testing activities.
