Job summary

Greystones Group seeks an experienced System Administrator to support and maintain DoD-grade infrastructure, networks, and emerging technologies. The role requires troubleshooting, DoD cybersecurity alignment, and collaboration with Navy and OEM teams to deliver mission-critical solutions.

The candidate should bring 10+ years of IT/DoD experience, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and an Active Secret clearance. Travel up to 15% and a remote-capable role in the San Diego area are expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as system, network, or IT administrator or systems engineer.
• Experience supporting DoD customers.
• Experience with OEMs, technology vendors, or government technical representatives.
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts, platforms, and compute environments.
• Active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and support backup and disaster recovery.
• Maintain security controls in line with DoD cybersecurity requirements, and keep system documentation current.
• Deploy, integrate, and sustain AI/ML applications and the computing environments that support them.
• Troubleshoot AI/ML integration issues and stay current on AI technologies relevant to DoD missions.
• Serve as the technical liaison between Greystones, Navy and DoD customers, internal teams, and OEMs.
• Support integration and sustainment of Navy systems, and translate technical requirements into practical solutions.
• Maintain working knowledge of OEM products, platforms, and roadmaps relevant to assigned programs.
• Coordinate with OEM representatives on troubleshooting, upgrades, product evaluations, and demonstrations.
• Share customer technology needs with leadership and contribute technical input to proposals as requested.
