Job summary

MANTECH in Eglin AFB seeks a System Administrator to support the Air Force / Space team. You will administer classified networks, manage server environments, and ensure patching, configuration, and security compliance across Hyper-V and multicloud-capable stacks.

Responsibilities include user account management, enterprise applications support, and coordination with ISSO for data transfers. A Bachelor’s degree plus 7 years of related experience and DoD 8570 IA Technical II or higher are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 2 years may substitute for a degree.
• 7+ years of direct/related experience.
• DoD 8570 IA Technical II or higher compliance.
• Hands-on with Windows Server, Hyper-V/VMware, Linux, networking, and security.

Responsibilities

• Determine hardware, software, and systems specifications and configuration.
• Patch and ensure compliance across assigned systems.
• Plan, install, configure, and troubleshoot Hyper-V and server platforms.
• Support users in account management, applications, and peripherals.
• Collaborate with ISSO on data transfers and media creation.
• Manage user accounts and coordinate with back shop for help.
• Perform other hardware and software tasks as assigned.
