Chenega Services & Federal Solutions is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to support the Department of the Navy's COMOPTEVFOR. The role involves installing, configuring, testing, and providing technical support to the Enterprise Architecture Team, covering Windows Server administration, VMware ESXi, backups, and security STIGs.

The ideal candidate will have an Active Secret clearance, 3+ years on Windows Server 2016+, 2+ years with VMware/vSphere, and relevant DoD cybersecurity qualifications.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance.
• 3+ years configuring Windows Server 2016 or higher.
• 1+ year with Commvault Backup and Recovery.
• 2+ years administering VMware vSphere and vCenter 6+.
• MCSA Windows Server 2016 or Hybrid Administrator certification.
• DoD cyberspace qualifications per DCWF foundations.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily technical support and troubleshooting for Windows server environments.
• Administer Active Directory, group policies, and permissions.
• Manage VMware ESXi/vCenter and virtual server infrastructure.
• Maintain and upgrade backup infrastructure using Commvault.
• Review STIGs and implement mitigations for Windows Server and VMware ESXi.
• Produce weekly status reports on progress and upcoming tasks.
