Job summary

LAUKOA is seeking a System Administrator to support the Defense Health Agency (DHA) on site at Andrews AFB. The role focuses on ensuring the integrity and reliability of healthcare IT applications, with on-site support and responsibilities spanning installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have an Active Secret Security Clearance, a related bachelor’s degree, and at least one year of system administration experience.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance Required
• A bachelor’s degree in a related field identified
• Minimum one year experience as a System Administrator
• MCSE certification preferred
• Apply software updates, security patches and DISA STIGs
• Strong skills in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines
• Perform vulnerability scans as needed

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain computer software; improve OS reliability and performance
• Provision physical and virtual components; manage patching services and repositories
• Support medical information systems; coordinate with PMOs for server consolidation
• Administer databases and storage resources in virtual and on-premises environments
• Provide enterprise solutions for load balancing, backup/restoration, and disaster recovery
• Maintain IA posture of OS and applications and update images
• Develop and maintain metrics/reports for system downtime and user support
• Provide Tier I-III support and coordinate with network services and development teams
• Document issues and resolutions; use ticketing system for tracking
