Job summary

Foxhole Technology is seeking a Jr. Systems Administrator to support enterprise systems in a secure DoD environment. You will perform routine tasks, monitor systems, and help maintain AD, DNS, and Group Policy under supervision.

You must have active Secret clearance with TS eligibility, at least 1 year of SysAdmin experience, and a DoD 8570 IAT II certification (e.g., Security+ CE). Familiarity with Windows Server or Linux and security tools like HBSS/ACAS is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance with TS eligibility.
• 1+ year of experience as a System Administrator.
• DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE).
• Experience with Windows Server or Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine system tasks such as user account setup and access permissions.
• Monitor system functionality and diagnose hardware and software issues.
• Support rollout of updates, patches, and antivirus per DoD directives (STIGs/IAVM).
• Maintain core services like Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy under supervision.
• Contribute to RMF-based control implementation and security compliance efforts.
• Assist in updating system documentation and procedures.
• Support backup and restoration procedures to ensure system continuity.
