Job summary

IT Veterans LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer to support DoD programs focused on CSfC networks, working with Marine Corps and Navy customers to plan, design, implement, sustain, and troubleshoot enterprise systems and virtualization environments. On-site presence at Camp Lejeune, NC is required.

The ideal candidate will have a strong problem-solving mindset, excellent communication skills, and experience supporting complex DoD infrastructure in garrison and tactical settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field from an accredited university.
• Active CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• Experience supporting US Marine Corps garrison and tactical networks.
• Ability to work onsite in the Camp Lejeune, NC area.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and sustainment support for classified and unclassified systems environments.
• Support planning, design, development, implementation, and optimization of multi-platform systems and infrastructure.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise systems and virtualization technologies.
• Provide on-call and touch labor support for systems sustainment activities.
• Support performance analysis, monitoring, and capacity planning efforts.
• Configure and support Active Directory, domain controllers, DNS, DHCP, PKI integration, and VMware environments.
• Install and configure servers, hypervisors, virtual appliances, and operating systems.
• Support system hardening using DoD STIGs and SCAP scanning tools.
• Collaborate with SMEs, PMs, and government stakeholders.
• Support CONUS and OCONUS mission requirements as needed.
