Job summary

REIC Rentals is seeking an Equipment Mechanic to maintain and repair heavy diesel and gasoline equipment over 10,000 lbs. The role primarily works in the shop with occasional field service, inspecting returned gear and performing preventive maintenance to keep the fleet safe and efficient.

You will diagnose issues, source parts, manage inventory, and document service actions while collaborating with team members in a fast-paced environment.

• Clean driving record with no violations within the previous three years.

DoD SkillBridge Internship: Service Technician SkillBridge Host Company: REIC SkillBridge Provider: Vets2PM LLC Location: Wheatland, Wyoming Applicants must be active-duty U.S. Military Members who qualify for the DoD SkillBridge Program.

REIC Rentals is hiring a courteous and detail-oriented Service Technician (a.k.a Equipment Mechanic). Our ideal candidate has experience working on a wide variety of equipment (both diesel and gasoline), values safety, and enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with: Mechanic work on all types of equipment from gas to diesel vehicles, to general tool to dirt moving and ariel equipment, working outside in all types of weather conditions.

Training provided (in addition to OJT): REIC Rentals Safety, Equipment, and Process training.

About the Role

As an Equipment Mechanic, you'll primarily work in our shop performing maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including diesel and gasoline-powered equipment over 10,000 lbs. When equipment returns from the field, you'll inspect it for damage, complete necessary repairs, and perform preventative maintenance to keep our fleet operating safely and efficiently. Occasional field service may be required as needed.

Physical Requirements

Approximate percentage of the workday: Standing - 20% Walking - 70% Sitting - 10%

This position is classified as non-exempt. If hired after the internship, target compensation is estimated between $52K - $82K per year, depending on many factors - this is just an estimate. REIC and all affiliates operate as drug-free environments, which includes marijuana. A pre-employment drug screening that tests for THC and other drugs, as well as a full background check, is required of all newly hired employees.
