Job summary

Koniag IT Systems, LLC is seeking a Senior Security Engineer with a Secret clearance to support government systems in Smyrna, GA. You will serve as the primary government point of contact for security architecture and engineering, ensuring DoW compliance and alignment with SRGs and STIGs.

The role requires extensive experience in DoW security requirements, documentation, and risk management, with leadership and mentorship responsibilities across the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology Security or related field (or extensive equivalent experience).
• Minimum 7 years in Cybersecurity System Architecture & Engineering, with 5+ years in US Federal Government.
• IASAE-III certification per DoD 8570.01-M/8140.01 for enclave-level cyber design and integration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as single government point of contact for security engineering matters.
• Provide leadership in Security Architecture within the DoW environment.
• Apply SRGs/STIGs across information systems to ensure DoW compliance.
• Develop security architecture documentation and system diagrams.
