Job summary

Koniag IT Systems LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, seeks a Senior Security Manager to oversee CSO operations and serve as the point of contact for our government customer in Smyrna, GA. The role requires a Secret clearance and extensive experience in federal cybersecurity operations.

The ideal candidate will lead risk assessments, develop security policies, and coordinate incident response, vulnerability management, and insider threat activities across DoW frameworks and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology security, cybersecurity, or related field, or substitution with extensive experience.
• Minimum 7 years in U.S. Federal Government cybersecurity service operation functions.
• Without Bachelor’s, 10+ years of relevant experience required.
• IAT Level II and CSSP Analyst certification per DoD 8570.01-M/8140.01.

Responsibilities

• Serve as single point of contact for Government, coordinating with stakeholders and technical teams.
• Oversee CSO operations, delivering high-quality cybersecurity services per DoW standards.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, guidance, and procedures.
• Assist with risk assessments and risk management to protect information systems.
• Provide leadership across Cybersecurity Governance, Identity Protection, Data Protection, and more.
• Lead incident response, including detection, containment, and remediation.
• Oversee vulnerability management and remediation across the enterprise.
• Support insider threat program activities with stakeholders.
• Present security briefings and recommendations to senior government leadership.
