Job summary

Intrepid, an SPA Company, is seeking an experienced IBCS System Protection Systems Engineer in Huntsville to lead analysis, design, testing, and maintenance of system protection and cybersecurity. The role requires DoD cybersecurity expertise and an active SECRET clearance, with responsibilities spanning risk management and supply chain risk mitigation.

The candidate will support developing TAPPs and PPPs, address cybersecurity risks from foreign intelligence and adversaries, and co-lead the ITI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in engineering, science, or related field.
• US citizenship and Huntsville area residency or willingness to relocate.
• 5+ years of system engineering experience.
• Experience in secure design, threat modeling, cybersecurity principles, and DoD standards.
• Active SECRET clearance required and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis and development of system protection and cybersecurity for IBCS.
• Support creation of protection plans and program protection plans (PPPs).
• Identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks across hardware, software, and cyber domains.
