Job summary

RTX seeks a Quality Engineer to ensure the highest standards of quality in processes and products. You will collaborate with experienced professionals to support program activities and drive quality improvements on onsite assignments in the United States.

You will learn to manage out-of-flow material, review material dispositions, track quality metrics, and support root-cause analysis, while developing presentations and leveraging SAP for data management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power BI.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with quality engineers to support program activities.
• Manage out-of-flow material by generating documentation to return non-conforming hardware to suppliers.
• Review materials for proper disposition, including scrap and material review board processes.
• Track and report out-of-flow metrics during daily tier meetings.
• Support root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to address quality issues.
• Develop and present PowerPoint slides to communicate findings and solutions.
• Utilize SAP systems to manage quality-related data and processes.
• Apply knowledge of soldering requirements in accordance with J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 standards.
