Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Computer Operations Support Analyst to join the C2BMC team in a 24/7 operations environment, responsible for daily monitoring, operations, and maintenance of C2BMC systems. The role supports warfighters and requires hands-on troubleshooting of hardware, software, and networks.

Qualified candidates will hold an active DoD Secret clearance, DoD 8140 certification at IAT II or higher, and have strong UNIX/Linux/Windows administration and Cisco/Juniper networking skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in listed fields with 5 years experience; or Master’s with 3 years; or 9 years experience in lieu of degree.
• Active DoD Secret clearance at time of application; ability to obtain Top Secret and SCI read-on
• Active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher at time of application
• Experience in operations/maintenance of large-scale computer and communications systems
• System and/or network administration experience (UNIX, Linux, Windows, Cisco, Juniper)
• Troubleshooting hardware and software components
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Role requires rotating 24x7 shift work and assignment to Ops/Training as needed
• Off-shifts (nights/weekends) rotation may be required

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to warfighter and initial troubleshooting of C2BMC hardware, software, and networks
• Document and report events to the CWO and take tasks from the CCC for operations, tests, and real-world events
• Assist with hardware/software installations as directed by SMEs and create/maintain user accounts per ISSO
• Perform additional duties and tasks as needed

Job description

Position Title: Computer Operations Support Analyst

Duration: Long-term contract through 2033

Compensation Range: $45-55/hour + DOE

The chosen candidate will join a team reporting to the C2BMC Watch Officer (CWO), responsible for daily monitoring, operations, and maintenance of the C2BMC systems in a 24/7 operational and testing environment.

Essential Functions:

• The candidate will provide first-level technical support to the warfighter and perform initial troubleshooting of all local C2BMC hardware, software, and networks
• The candidate will document and report all events and issues to the CWO and receive tasks and direction from the CCC for all operations, tests, and real-world events
• The candidate will also assist with all hardware and software installations as directed by the local SMEs and create and maintain user accounts as directed by the local ISSO
• Performs additional duties and tasks as needed

Basic Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university, along with 5 years of experience; or a Master’s degree in a related field with 3 years of relevant work experience; or 9 years of relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to a degree
• Applicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance and eligibility to be read on to SCI clearance
• Applicants must have a current, active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+ CE, SecurityX, CCNA Security, CySA+ **, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CISSP, etc.) at the time of application, which is required to start. The candidate is responsible for maintaining their DoD 8140 certification throughout the entire contract period
• Sound background and experience in operations and maintenance of large-scale computer and communications systems/networking environments
• Sound background and experience in system and/or network administration that include the following (UNIX, Linux, Windows, Cisco, and Juniper)
• Sound background and experience troubleshooting hardware and software components
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Position requires rotating 24x7 shift work. Candidate will be assigned to a shift and an assignment (Ops or Training), to be determined by mission requirements
• Some substitute rotation during off-shifts, including nights and weekends, will be required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Applicants with a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Top Secret security clearance and eligibility to be read on to SCI clearance at the time of application are highly desired
• Experience and knowledge of C2BMC Systems or Missile Defense Systems are highly desired
