Job summary

Targeted Solutions, LLC in Cheyenne, WY seeks an Information System Security Officer II to ensure the DoD RMF posture for complex information systems, including SAPs and SCI environments. The ISSO will work with the ISSM and ISO to maintain authorization packages, monitor security controls, and coordinate changes across systems.

Candidates should have 2–5 years of RMF experience, a Bachelor's or related degree, and DoD 8570 IAM II certification within 6 months. TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in a related field plus 2 years’ experience (4 years equivalent).
• 2–5 years related experience including RMF and security controls.
• Experience developing RMF packages or bodies of evidence.
• Must meet DoD Directive 8570.01-M for IAM II within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop physical or logical topologies for a system.
• Assist the ISSM in duties and responsibilities.
• Prepare, review, and update authorization packages.
• Ensure procedures for clearing, sanitizing, and destroying hardware and media.
• Conduct periodic reviews of information systems for RMF compliance.
• Coordinate changes to hardware/software with ISSM and AO/DAO.
• Monitor system recovery processes to ensure security features function.
• Ensure security documentation is current and accessible.
• Ensure audit records are collected and reviewed.
• Attend required technical and security training.
• Execute cyber security portion of self-inspection and review system assessment plans.
• Identify cyber security vulnerabilities and implement countermeasures.
• Prepare reports on status of security safeguards.
• Perform ISSO duties for in-house and external customers.
• Conduct security impact analysis on CM changes.
