Job summary

Targeted Solutions, LLC seeks an Information System Security Officer II in Bedford, MA to manage security posture for information systems, collaborate with ISSM and ISO, and maintain authorization documentation across SAP/SCI programs. The role includes handling security operations, training, and incident handling.

The position requires 2–5 years in DoD RMF activities, DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level II, and experience as ISSO/System Administrator.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years related experience in RMF packages and DoD environments.
• Experience as System/Network Administrator or ISSO.
• DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level II certification (or equivalent) required.
• Must meet DoD Directive 8570.01-M within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop physical or logical topologies for a system.
• Assist the ISSM in duties and responsibilities.
• Prepare, review, and update authorization packages.
• Ensure procedures for clearing, sanitizing, destroying hardware/media.
• Conduct periodic reviews of information systems to ensure RMF/authorization compliance.
• Coordinate changes with ISSM and AO/DAO prior to changes.
• Monitor recovery processes to ensure security features function correctly.
• Maintain current IS security documentation.
• Ensure audit records are collected and reviewed (including anomalies).
• Attend required security training related to assigned duties.
• Execute the cyber security portion of the self-inspection and reviews.
• Identify cyber security vulnerabilities and implement countermeasures.
• Prepare reports on the status of security safeguards.
• Perform ISSO duties for in-house and external customers.
• Conduct security impact analysis for changes to authorization boundaries.
