Job summary

MOHR Talent in Caledonia, Mississippi is seeking a Program Manager to lead large DoD programs from initiation to completion. The role involves direct engagement with senior military leaders, government partners, and industry allies to ensure successful execution and compliance.

You will own budgets, manage cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma while navigating ITAR and CMMC requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• PMP or PgMP certification required.
• 10+ years of experience as a Program Manager in a DoD environment managing large scale projects ($100M+)
• Industry-side program management experience strongly preferred over USG-side
• Navy program background is a big plus.
• Advanced MS Office skills, including MS Project.
• Must be a U.S. Person as defined under 22 U.S.C. 6010.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and manage execution of large, complex DoD programs from start to finish
• Serve as a key point of contact for senior military leaders, government representatives, and industry partners
• Lead cross-functional project teams and keep everyone aligned on tasks and deliverables
• Own program budgets, monitor costs, and ensure efficient use of resources
• Identify risks early and build mitigation plans to keep programs on track
• Manage scope, schedule, and resource changes with proper documentation and approvals
• Support compliance with ITAR and CMMC requirements
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma principles
