Long Wave Inc. seeks a Project Manager to execute planning, coordination, and control activities on DoD programs involving training devices, simulators, and integrated systems.

Emphasis on EVMS compliance, disciplined baseline management, and cross-functional integration within a structured program environment. You will develop schedules, budgets, and work packages, serve as CAM or support CAMs, monitor PMB against the PMB, and manage risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, project management, or related technical field.
• 3–6 years of project management experience in technical development, production, or integration programs.
• Experience with EVMS principles, performance reporting, variance analysis, and work package control.
• Understanding of full program life cycle (EMD, P&L, O&S) for seamless integration.
• DoD acquisition experience including baseline management and technical reviews.
• Strong communication and cross-functional interfacing skills with suppliers and government stakeholders.
• U.S. citizenship required and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsabilités

• Manage all aspects of assigned project scope within baselines for cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Develop, update, and maintain schedules, budgets, and work package structures per EVMS guidelines.
• Serve as CAM or support CAMs, preparing variance analyses and EVMS metrics.
• Monitor execution against PMB; identify adverse trends and implement recovery plans.
• Perform risk and opportunity management with risk registers and mitigation actions.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities among systems engineering, software, hardware, production, logistics, quality, and supply chain.
• Support configuration management, change control, and alignment with contract requirements.
• Plan and manage CDRL/SDRL items for compliance with Data Item Descriptions.
• Coordinate integration, verification, validation, and acceptance events with engineering teams and government customers.
• Oversee supplier and subcontractor progress, track performance, and assist issue resolution.
• Prepare status briefings and EVMS-driven performance reports.
• Travel up to 25% to customer facilities and supplier locations.
