Job summary

Long Wave Inc. seeks an experienced Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) Engineer to support DoD programs based in Oklahoma City.

You will perform reliability analyses to ensure designs meet performance, maintenance, and lifecycle sustainment requirements. You will work with Systems, Hardware, and Software Engineering, Logistics, and suppliers to develop R&M requirements, MTBF/MTTR predictions, FMECA, and FRACAS activities, while supporting design reviews and BOE efforts.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
3+ years in Reliability & Maintainability engineering or related field.
Experience performing R&M analyses (MTBF/MTTR/availability) and FMEA/FMECA.
Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
US Citizenship and DoD clearance eligibility is required.

Responsibilities

Perform R&M engineering analyses to support design, integration, verification, and sustainment.
Allocate and track RMA requirements to system specifications.
Develop MTBF/MTTR and availability predictions and analyses.
Create and maintain FMECA to identify failure modes and impacts.
Evaluate maintainability/testability and BIT effectiveness.
Support FRACAS data collection and root-cause analysis.
Assess impacts of design changes on R&M attributes.
Collaborate with engineering to incorporate R&M into architecture and interfaces.
Support program reviews and BOE development for R&M scope.
Perform other duties as assigned.
