Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering or systems engineering experience, preferably within a DoD or government environment.
• Experience with DISA STIGs, patch management, and DoD cybersecurity requirements.
• Agile Developer certification or Certified Scrum Developer certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update system software and firmware, including integration and version control.
• Develop and test automation scripts for patch deployments.
• Perform software testing and validation; create and maintain system manuals.
• Identify, implement, and test security patches and configurations.
• Assist in system hardening and C&A package preparation.

Skills

Software development methodologies (agile, DEVOPS/DEVSECOPS)

Windows and/or Linux system administration and scripting

Software version control systems

Strong documentation and communication skills

Education

Master’s degree in engineering or mathematics
