Job summary

RTX’s U.S. Tucson site seeks a Coyote Missile On-site Program Quality Lead (PQL) to drive a robust quality culture across the program team. You will partner with senior leaders and customers to implement proactive quality strategies and reduce costs through Core/CoPQ projects.

The role requires a university degree and 7–10 years of relevant quality experience, with ISO 9001/AS9100 knowledge and the ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance. Onsite work in Tucson is expected.

Qualifications

• Typically requires: a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years’ experience.
• Relevant experience is Program / Project Quality Management, Quality Planning, Quality Assurance and/or Quality Engineering.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
• Experience leading teams in failure analysis, root cause analysis, corrective and preventative action.
• Experience in providing technical program support for manufacturing and/or design processes.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• STEM degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop partnerships with senior leaders, IPTs, customers, and quality support functions to implement proactive quality strategies.
• Engage on strategic and tactical levels, focusing on quality, cost and schedule performance, early engagement, and providing differentiating quality value.
• Generate CORE and CoPQ projects to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
• Monitor / lead RCCA and FRACAS activities for systemic issues.
• Support implementation of Advanced Product Quality Planning per AS9145, as applicable.
