Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a Project Manager - Journeyman to support DoD programs at Wright-Patterson AFB. You will manage technical Projects within the APB, build IMS schedules, and track cost and schedule health across up to five programs.

You’ll develop acquisition docs, coordinate risk mitigation, and report to PM leadership while ensuring compliance with DoD directives and PMBOK standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and PMP certification.
• DoD cost and schedule management experience.
• DAWIA Program Management certification; DAWIA Advanced/Level III to be obtained within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Manage the execution of assigned technical projects within the approved APB in accordance with DoD 5000-series directives and PMBOK guidelines; support no more than five programs at any time.
• Build and maintain a resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in Microsoft Project, integrated with the WBS, and update it monthly.
• Evaluate program health metrics (cost and schedule variance) and report status during PMRs.
• Execute a risk-management plan per the DoD RIO Guide with documented mitigations within five business days of identification.
• Develop and manage acquisition documentation including APBs, reports, RFP inputs, SOWs, CDRLs; deliver by suspense with ≤2 reworks.
• Populate SysML models in MBSE environment; keep data current within five business days of a review or change notice.
• Manage program communications and task management; ensure 100% of taskers are answered by the deadline.
