Job summary

Applied Research Solutions (ARS) seeks a Program Manager - Journeyman to support Air Force initiatives that enhance operational capability and mission readiness. The role focuses on leading program management efforts, coordinating acquisition activities, and ensuring cost, schedule, and performance objectives are met.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in program management with DoD experience and a current or obtainable Secret clearance.

Qualifications

7+ years of Program Manager experience, with at least 3 years in a DoD environment preferred.
Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain a secret security clearance
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Must be a U.S. Citizen

Responsibilities

Support cost and schedule reduction activities for acquisition and development.
Provide support and solutions to program leadership to facilitate successful contract execution and analyze overall program health.
Develop and maintain program status brieﬁngs/schedules for senior management.
Provide PM inputs to RFPs including SOWs, SRDs, CDRLs, and other RFP products.
Review acquisition documents for consistency and accuracy across DoD directives and guidance.
Prepare and review acquisition reports per DoD policy.
Interpret and coordinate DoD DoDI-based program management guidance.
Outline policy interpretive gaps and manage acquisition efforts.
Assist with development and evaluation of program acquisition strategies and risk management.
