Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Procurement and Logistics Analyst to support acquisition and program operations by researching, evaluating, and negotiating procurements and contract actions. Qualifications

• 2+ years of Navy or DoD logistics and procurement experience.
• Experience with procurement or contract management and required documentation such as DD1149.
• Knowledge of FAR and compliance with DoD logistics, procurement, and inventory SOPs.
• Ability to research technical CE/GFE requirements and use MS Office tools effectively.
• Secret clearance required.
• HS diploma or GED with 4+ years logistics analysis or Bachelor's degree with 1+ years logistics analysis.

Responsibilities

• Researches, analyzes, and evaluates procurement requirements to determine appropriate acquisition approaches and aligns with the contract and FAR.
• Prepares and supports negotiation strategies.
• Reviews vendor proposals and conducts cost or price and compliance assessments.
• Develops and maintains procurement documentation, trackers, and program artifacts to support contract execution and financial oversight.
• Applies program analysis techniques to identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities within procurement workflows.
• Tracks material movement, equipment status, and operational documentation and standardized reporting processes.
• Works independently and may review the work of junior team members or guide less experienced staff.
