Qualifications

• Experience in subcontracts or purchasing.
• Experience in procurement or subcontract management, including supporting proposals, supplier selection, or subcontract administration.
• Experience working with suppliers and their sub-tiers with product and service delivery.
• Knowledge of procurement software and tools such as ERP systems or e-procurement platforms.
• Knowledge of contract management software and tools.
• Ability to function independently as a self-starter and manage work efficiently.
• Ability to collaborate with program leadership and stakeholders to drive delivery of procurements.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement strategies that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and with suppliers to manage inventory levels that optimize availability while minimizing costs.
• Identify potential risks within the supply chain and help mitigate them.
• Provide business advice on subcontract or direct procurement matters, including contracts and compliance.
• Monitor procurement activities to ensure compliance with laws and organizational policies.
• Prepare and present regular reports on procurement performance and market trends.
• Develop data analytics and forecasting tools to anticipate customer demands.
