Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Procurement and Logistics Analyst in Dahlgren, VA to support acquisition and program operations with research, evaluation, negotiation, and documentation of procurements and contract actions.

The role applies FAR knowledge and DoD logistics experience to drive compliant, cost-effective purchasing decisions and develops program artifacts and trackers for contract execution and financial oversight.

Qualifications

2+ years of Navy or DoD logistics and procurement experience.
Experience with procurement or contract management and documentation such as DD1149.
Knowledge of FAR and DoD logistics, procurement, and inventory SOPs.
Ability to research CE/GFE requirements and use Microsoft Office tools effectively.
Secret clearance required; HS diploma or GED with 4+ years logistics analysis, or Bachelor's with 1+ years

Responsibilities

Researches, analyzes, and evaluates procurement requirements to determine acquisition approaches.
Prepares and supports negotiation strategies.
Reviews vendor proposals and conducts cost or price and compliance assessments.
Develops and maintains procurement documentation, trackers, and program artifacts.
Applies program analysis techniques to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
Tracks material movement, equipment status, and standardized reporting processes.
Works independently and may review junior staff work.
