Job summary

Kinetic Concepts is hiring a Business Process Engineer to support a high-visibility Department of War (DoW) international acquisition and security cooperation program at Fort Meade.

The role focuses on analyzing, improving, and modernizing business processes associated with Foreign Military Sales (FMS), international engagements, foreign disclosure, technology release, and related international acquisition activities.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in business process analysis, process improvement, business operations, management consulting, or related field.
• Experience documenting and improving business processes.
• Experience using process modeling tools such as Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, or similar platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with senior government and contractor personnel.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document current-state business processes and workflows.
• Develop future-state process designs and improvement recommendations.
• Create process maps, workflow diagrams, SOPs, and business process documentation.
• Identify process bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation.
• Develop business case analyses, cost-benefit assessments, and risk evaluations.
• Establish performance metrics, dashboards, and KPIs.
• Support process improvement initiatives related to FMS, international engagements, technology release, and international agreements.
• Collaborate with government stakeholders to implement improved business processes.
• Facilitate working groups, stakeholder meetings, and process workshops.
• Support development of training materials and change management activities.
• Assist with technology modernization efforts, including Power BI, SharePoint, and workflow automation initiatives.
