Job summary

Computer World Services is seeking an Implementations Network Engineer to oversee installation, configuration, testing, monitoring and service activation for DoD network projects. You will work closely with customers, solution architects and vendor SMEs to implement changes, manage service orders and ensure DISA standards are met.

The role requires BS degree plus 4–8 years (MS with 2–6 years acceptable) and DoD-related network experience, with on-site work at a government facility.

Qualifications

• BS degree and 4–8 years of relevant experience, or MS with 2–6 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of network hardware, configuration and testing processes.
• Experience with DISA/DoD networks and military protocols.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with customers, architects and SMEs to implement changes.
• Manage Service Orders and ensure TSOs are in place for changes.
• Perform I&T, activation, testing and data input for new services per DISA standards.
• Monitor networks and assess impact of changes on traffic and performance.
• Engage DISA project managers to resolve unclear requirements.
