Job summary

Computer World Services seeks an Implementations Network Engineer to oversee installation, configuration, testing, monitoring and servicing of network equipment for Department of Defense projects. You will activate networks, coordinate IT&A, and ensure changes meet DISA standards.

You will work with customers, architects and vendors to implement changes, manage service orders, and validate circuit activations. On-site at government facilities with DoD SECRET clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• BS degree with 4–8 years of relevant network engineering experience, or MS with 2–6 years.
• Knowledge of network hardware specs, configuration and testing processes.
• Experience with BGP/OSPF/DHCP/DNS, TCP/IP, WAN, VPN, VLAN and related devices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate IT&A and activation of new services per DISA standards.
• Work with customers, architects and vendors to implement changes and resolve issues.
• Manage Service Orders and TSOs in Change Management context.
• Monitor network performance and assess traffic impacts from changes.
• Configure network devices and validate DISN requirements.
• Collaborate with DISA project managers to progress service requests.
